What's the Catch?

Everyone's asking what's the catch? Why is this free? Why are you doing this? What are you benefitting from it? Etc....

Well it's easy.

We have an ad that I'll be changing from time to time on the bottom right of the video's. That logo IS clickable. As the reach grows the value of that spot will grow and I can make more from it by selling weekly spots. That's all there is to it!

The logo is very small, and just sits in the bottom corner of the video.

This isn't exactly something that will be a huge money maker short term but our target for this is simply breaking even for the first 6-12mnths while building a very large "reach".

Any other Catch? NOPE!

You can edit/change the template anyway you please, do whatever you would like with it. Put your own Google/YPN ads, and make a profit from it. After all you will have a Video site that updates automatically !

Remember we are only at Version .5 NOT even 1. :) So we have much room to grow, and get this out.

We are also not in this for a short term. We have all of our bills and 4 servers paid for the next 18 months, and have large plans for this.

We have offered privately ways for people to d/l the videos BUT they have to pay. The only reason this is being given away is the advertising revenues as the reach gets big.

Locally hosted means they wouldn't be showing our ads and we wouldn't be able to rotate ads and such in.

If people want to have these video's ad free and host them themselves we are working on determining a fair price for this.

the google ad part is just a default/placeholder. People are instructed to update their config after installation.

Hi, we have been out for a while taking care of other things, however, I have been in the background with a new site deisgn, and better layout for the site, also a way to advertise on the player. We don't know the traffic as of right now, but we will have it tracked as soon as we get everything up and running.
